On 9 December, the world marks International Anti-Corruption Day, highlighting the importance of integrity, transparency, and accountability. This yearโ€™s focus, โ€œ๐”๐ง๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ฐ๐ข๐ญ๐ก ๐˜๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ก ๐€๐ ๐š๐ข๐ง๐ฌ๐ญ ๐‚๐จ๐ซ๐ซ๐ฎ๐ฉ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง,โ€ recognizes the role of young people in shaping fairer societies.

To mark the day,ย Global Compact Network Pakistanย &ย Maritime Anti-Corruption Network (MACN), in collaboration with Bahria University Karachi, hosted an interactive session with students on the maritime industry, a key driver of Pakistanโ€™s trade and economy, where ethical practices are essential.
The discussion highlighted how youth can support MACNโ€™s collective action efforts to strengthen integrity and accountability across the maritime sector.
